Disappointed with shamanism?

When after a powerful treatment or a magical ritual it all goes away again quickly.
When delight quickly turns to disappointment
The shamanic treatment was wonderful, and afterward you felt like a new person: clear-headed, centered, energized, and with good access to your intuition. But this only lasted a few days or weeks, and soon you were struggling with the same problems as before the treatment.
A shamanic ritual opened your consciousness: In your vision, you were one with the universe and your soul, in your full power. But back in everyday life, nothing remained of it but a beautiful, intense dream.
Unfortunately, many people who want to experience shamanism encounter one or more of these scenarios. Often, they conclude that shamanism isn't for them and seek help or their next consciousness-expanding experience elsewhere. However, there's so much more potential to be gained from this experience.
How shamanism works
The goal of shamanic rituals and treatments is to reconnect a person with the natural energies around them. Since these energies also work within them, this path leads them to their essence. Recognizing, accepting, and living harmoniously with both brings health and fulfillment.
Through energetic cleansing and connection with positive energies, blockages and disruptive external energies are removed, allowing energies to flow freely and harmoniously. One feels clearer, more centered, more mindful, more energized, in harmony with one's essence, and thus "in control of one's life." With this foundation, health and harmony can be achieved on all levels. And what is clarified in the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual body also affects all areas of life, be it relationships, finances, new career opportunities, etc. Shamanism can be used for spiritual development by opening one's awareness to one's own inner world or spirits and learning to work with them actively and beneficially.
How to avoid disappointment

Shamanism can restore balance to what has fallen out of harmony. But maintaining this state is up to us! If we are not prepared to change our life circumstances accordingly, we will soon be pulled out of balance again by the same energies.
And that's precisely where most people fail, because it requires willpower, discipline, and perseverance. Many think—mostly unconsciously—that the shamanic session solves the problem and don't realize that it opens the door to achieving long-term change through continuous dedication and self-work.
Many people speak with shining eyes of the magnificent visions they received during rituals, yet fail to harness their power and wisdom in everyday life in the long term. The wave of energy triggered by the ritual, the newfound clarity and connection, should be used for intensive introspection to discover precisely what this experience was trying to show you, how to integrate it, and how to benefit from it in the long run.
The right attitude
Shamanic experiences can be wonderful, impressive, deeply moving, and life-changing. But the shamanic path requires continuous hard work on oneself!
Spiritual guides are not there to entertain us so we can later boast about our visions; rather, they offer their help. Whether we accept it or not is entirely up to us. If we choose to continue making the same or new decisions that are not conducive to our development, they will not stop us and will eventually withdraw.
If we ask for support from the spiritual realm to help us find our path to healing, spiritual development, and using our abilities for the highest good, they will do so as long as we stay the course and are open to their guidance. This is not easy, because along this path we will repeatedly confront our own shadows and be completely dismantled at least once, only to be reassembled anew.
If we feel drawn to shamanism, we should therefore look inward and ask ourselves what exactly we are looking for. Is it truly the improvement of our life circumstances through a return to ourselves? Or is it merely spiritual tourism? You will receive as much as you are willing to give.
You don't walk the path alone
Having someone to support us through challenging times can be incredibly enriching. Not only does it give us the opportunity to exchange ideas, benefit from the experiences of others, and receive feedback, but trained facilitators can also guide us through the processes, allowing us to fully engage with them. Furthermore, we must recognize that we are always "blind to our own system": we cannot view ourselves objectively from the outside, but are emotionally involved and only ever see part of the whole picture. A facilitator can provide us with this external perspective and draw our attention to our "blind spots."
Do you need support? Then I look forward to hearing from you.

I'd be happy to advise you!
