This powerful healing method of laying on of hands, developed by the Japanese Dr. Mikao Usui in 1922, can help to reduce stress and tension, alleviate physical complaints, restore inner balance, promote creativity and develop a deeper understanding of oneself.
 

Reiki is now used in many hospitals: in operating theaters, after operations, in emergency medicine and for almost all chronic illnesses. In addition to stress reduction, pain relief, relaxation and better sleep, studies have shown that it accelerates healing processes, reduces the use of medication and reduces the side effects of medication.

The system is traditionally passed on in three degrees. The initiations open and activate the energy channels so that the Reiki energy can flow more strongly, which increases the effect and supports spiritual development.

In the first level, you learn the basics of the Reiki method, how to direct the energy through different hand positions and how to treat yourself and others with Reiki.

What sets my course apart from other offerings is that we not only treat according to traditional methods, but also work intuitively: you learn to use your hands to sense which parts of the body need Reiki and how far away from the body you should hold them so that the energy can flow optimally. 

The group size is limited to four people, as I perform the initiation individually for each person. This allows me to focus entirely on you and gently open your Reiki channel to the extent that is most beneficial at that moment. It is also important to me that I can respond to your individual questions and needs, because not everyone learns Reiki in order to treat clients. Perhaps you are more interested in self-treatment or treating loved ones such as children or seniors. Or maybe you work in massage or nursing and are wondering how you can incorporate Reiki into your work. All of this will be covered in the course.
