Be stable & soft, open & protected.

Why we lack grounding

For thousands of years, we humans lived directly on and from the earth, sitting and sleeping on the ground without furniture. Now we live and work in tall buildings surrounded by constant noise and lots of artificial energy. When we go outside, we usually wear shoes with rubber soles, which restrict the exchange of energy with the earth and the associated energetic discharge.

The consequences of a lack of grounding

If we are not properly grounded, we lack roots and are unstable: psychologically, a lack of grounding can manifest itself in thin-skinnedness, insecurity, and feelings of being overwhelmed, or even a limited sense of reality, often as a result of overstimulation when emotions, thoughts, and external energies overwhelm us. When energy cannot circulate freely in the body, blockages form, which can manifest as stress, obstructive behavior patterns, physical tension, or even illness. Recent studies also show that inflammation can be the result of a lack of connection to the earth.

What changes can I expect when I consciously ground myself regularly again?

Good grounding has a stabilizing, protective, and healing effect because it helps to reduce stress hormones, calms the nervous system, and strengthens the body's self-healing powers. It reduces rumination and connects you with reality—you “stand with both feet firmly on the ground”—you are clearer and more present, have better access to your intuition, and can therefore better integrate and manifest insights in everyday life. It also makes it easier to cope with the challenges of daily life, to distance yourself from foreign energies, and to be more centered, focused, stable, and better protected in energetic-spiritual work.

The power of conscious contact

Being in nature helps, but conscious connection enhances the experience. Energy follows attention, and when I intend to connect with the earth, this automatically leads to a stronger energy exchange with it. I can connect with it energetically by lying down on the ground, hugging a tree, or even going on a shamanic journey. I greet the earth and then let all my heavy energy sink into it so that it absorbs my fears, worries, doubts, and stress and transforms these energies. I don't pollute the earth in doing so, because one of its qualities is precisely the transformation of these kinds of energies. When I feel lighter, I ask the earth to fill me with nourishing and strengthening energy so that my batteries are recharged before I gratefully turn my attention back to my own body.

You've tried, but somehow it's not working properly?

Blockages in your energy field can limit your ability to ground yourself. In addition to showing you more powerful grounding exercises, I can help you remove blockages, cleanse your energy system, and recharge it—even from a distance.
